Liz Sanders

Liz Sanders is the Associate Vice President for Institutional Research & Market Analytics at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. With over thirty years of experience, Liz has a strong background in research related to higher education and enrollment management. Throughout her career, she has held several leadership positions in the field. She served as the Director of Enrollment & Marketing Research and Associate Director of the Office of Institutional Planning and Research at DePaul University, and as the founder and director of the institutional research office at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Dr Sanders has a Ph.D. in applied social psychology from Loyola University Chicago, with a focus on education research. Her professional interests include harnessing information technology and the visual displays of quantitative information to facilitate informed decision making.

Additionally, Liz is actively involved in professional organizations related to institutional research, such as the national Association for Institutional Research. She is a member of the Illinois Association for Institutional Research steering committee and a co-leader of the Chicago Area Association for Institutional Research.

EM and Student Success

Liz Holder

An Associate Director in Institutional Research & Market Analytics, Liz Holder and her team support Enrollment Management and Student Success at DePaul University. With over 17 years of experience in higher education, Liz currently specializes in retention and outcomes for all student populations. She has her Master's degree in Applied Statistics with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. She enjoys analyzing trends over time and telling stories with data.

Coleen Dickman

Coleen is a senior research associate at DePaul University and her current specialties include enrollment management support, enrollment and revenue projections, market analysis, and other special initiatives. She has over ten years of experience in institutional research and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and a Master's degree from DePaul University. Her favorite aspect of her role is connecting with colleagues across the university to assist with their data needs. In her spare time, she can be found chasing around her two young boys and a rambunctious irish terrier.

Jackie Cameron

Jackie Cameron serves as a part-time research analyst for Institutional Research & Market Analytics at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, Jackie has enjoyed being a student, staff, faculty, and alumnae during her 20 year (and growing) tenure with DePaul. Her professional interests include benchmarking and comparison studies and data visualization. Dr. Cameron earned her PhD in communication and information studies from the University of Tennessee.

Joe Filkins

Joe Filkins is the Associate Director of Institutional Studies in the Office of Institutional Research and Market Analytics at DePaul University. For the last 27 years, Joe has overseen the internal and external surveys for the university as well as serve as liaison to the executive team. Joe received his Ph.D. in social psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 1996.

Vera Setiawan

Vera Setiawan is a Reports Analyst in Institutional Research & Market Analytics at DePaul University. She is part of the Institutional Studies team where she serves as the liaison for internal and external publication requests for university data and statistics. Vera holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from DePaul University with a specialization in business intelligence.

College Decision Support

Jasmine Ahmad

Jasmine Ahmad is the Associate Director for College Decision Support in Institutional Research & Market Analytics at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Jasmine has been involved in research and analytics at DePaul for over 10 years. Her focus area within IRMA includes faculty and staff reports, and she develops and oversees program-level reporting for Academic Program Review (APR) and Program Portfolio Review (PPR). Jasmine has her Ph.D. in Psychological Science from DePaul University, and she studied applied judgement and decision-making.

Kristina Walters

Kristina Walters is a Senior Research Associate for Institutional Research & Market Analytics at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Her primary area of focus is enrollment reporting, course analytics, Academic Program Review, and international student reporting. Kristina liaises with the colleges of Education, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, Music, Science & Health, and School of Continuing & Professional Studies, as well as Global Engagement. Prior to joining IRMA, Kristina worked in international education.

Course Analytics

Patti Huerta

Patti Huerta is a DePaul University double demon and an associate director working primarily with course, curriculum and degree progress data which brings together many years of lived and learned experiences at DePaul. Patti served as an advisor in the LA&S college office, working primarily with new first-year and transfer students in the orientation/registration process, as well as the graduation verification process, which are bookend experiences of the student journey. Patti's experiences in the LA&S Deans Office provided her with in-depth knowledge of the Liberal Studies Program (in particular the first-year program and Chicago Quarter) and scheduling. Her experience in the Student Records/Registrar's Office allowed for a more in-depth understanding of student systems in general and the degree progress report specifically. These experiences led her to her current role of providing course and curriculum data to the colleges in support of more efficient scheduling, which in turn will ideally lead to better student outcomes.

Infrastructure

Nate Stott

Nate Stott is an Associate Director for the Infrastructure Group in the Department of Institutional Research & Market Analytics (IRMA) at DePaul University in Chicago Illinois.  His responsibilities include working with and maintaining enrollment, course, faculty and staff data. Nate also partners with Enrollment Management, Finance Affairs, Financial Aid Office, and Academic Affairs to help forecast university enrollment, credit hours, tuition revenue, and net tuition revenue.

Alim Ray

Alim Ray is a Senior Applications Developer in the Institutional Research & Market Analytics (IRMA) at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. He primarily provides admissions and enrollment data to the IRMA team. Alim also works closely with Slate Operation and the Law school, and assists with reporting to agencies outside DePaul. During his 20+ years at DePaul, Alim has obtained a Masters in Computer Science.

Joseph Magliari

Joseph is a senior database developer at DePaul University and President of the Tableau User Group. He will attend any meeting at the promise of cookies, and has added working-dad to his list of accomplishments during the pandemic.
